Installation and Removal Instructions
Dell Studio 1535 / 1536 / 1537 CPU Processor & Heatsink Fan
Step 1
- Remove the battery.
- Unscrew the 7 retaining screws.
- Remove the access panel door.

Step 2
- Loosen the 6 heatsink retaining screws.
- Unplug the fan.
- Remove the heatsink
|
Step 3
- Turn the CPU locking screw counterclockwise and lift the CPU straight up.
Step 4
- Installation note 1: Make sure to replace thermal compound or thermal pads on the CPU and heatsink.
- Installation note 2: Tighten the heatsink screws in the order listed on the heatsink.
