To start off, kick starter projects always fascinate me, especially when you know at first glance that they are going to be truly beneficial. This one, named the Doodle3D, will enable anyone, even your artistic little toddler, to create a simple line drawing on an iPad or computer, transfer it through the Doodle3D wifi box to the 3D printer!
Next topic is regarding young adults and their texting habits. Research is currently suggesting that the more a person texts, the more shallow or self-involved they are. I find this very controversial of a study due to the fact that the subjects themselves are very young in age. Young folks are glued to their phones, adults are too! The amount of texts you send everyday does not signify the type of person you are going to be as a grown adult.
A brand new prosthetic hand is being used for the first time by a double amputee who lost his hands in an electricity accident. Five years later in 2013 he because the first subject to receive the I-Limb, a prosthetic hand that is controlled by an iPad to manipulate movements in his hand with over 24 different control modes.
Four crazy iPhone cases have been released lately that are geared towards protection of enemies. One is a tazer, one is a pepper spray, then the others are a knife ready and punch ready. These are quite hilarious. The one I would want is the tazer, but just remember how careful you would have to be not to stun yourself!
Lastly there is some news floating around about Facebook's latest advertising gimmick. They are planning on having auto playing ads for 15 seconds a piece targeting different age groups of both men and women. The craziest part is that each advertisement is going to cost one hundred million dollars. Last time I checked, Facebook made ridiculous amounts of money. We will see what happens with this. For now I will stay away from any controversy.
