Installation and Removal Instructions
Inspiron 15R N5110 USB IO Circuit Board
Step 1
- Slide the locking latch over.
- Slide the latch the the left and the battery out.
Step 2
- Loosen the access door screw.
- Remove the access door.
Step 3
- Remove the optical drive.
Step 4
- Remove the bottom base screws.
- Remove the middle cover screws.
Step 5
- Turn the laptop over and open it up.
- Press in the 4 keyboard clips to loosen the keyboard.
Step 6
- Turn the keyboard over.
- Unplug the keyboard cable.
Step 7
- Remove the palmrest screws.
Step 8
- Unplug the palmrest cables.
- Remove the palmrest.
Step 9
- Unplug the antenna cables.
- Unplug the LCD cable.
Step 10
- Remove the hinge screws.
- Remove the LCD display assembly.
- Remove the middle cover.
Step 11
- Remove the read switch.
- Unplug the speakers.
Step 12
- Remove the motherboard screws.
- Unplug the fan.
- Lift the motherboard out of the base.
Step 13
- Remove the wireless card screw.
- Remove the wireless card.
Step 14
- Remove the USB screw.
- Remove the USB circuit board.
