Installation and Removal Instructions
Inspiron 13z (5323) Web Camera

Remove the access door.

Step 1

  • Loosen the screw.
  • Remove the access door.

Remove the bottom screws.

Step 2

  • Remove the bottom screws.
Turn the laptop over and open it up.

Step 3

  • Remove the keyboard screw on the bottom of the laptop.
  • Turn the laptop over and open it up.
Press the 3 keyboard latches and loosen the keyboard.

Step 4

  • Press the 3 keyboard latches and loosen the keyboard.
Unplug the keyboard cable.

Step 5

  • Turn over the keyboard.
  • Unplug the keyboard cable.
Remove the palmrest screws.

Step 6

  • Unplug the palmrest cables.
  • Remove the palmrest screws.
  • Remove the palmrest from the base.
Remove the palmrest screws.Remove the palmrest from the base.
Unplug the battery.

Step 7

  • Remove the battery screws.
  • Unplug the battery.
  • Remove the battery.
Unplug the battery.Remove the battery.Remove the battery screws.
Unsnap the bezel from the LCD display assembly

Step 8

  • Unsnap the bezel from the LCD display assembly
Carefully remove the camera from the display.

Step 9

  • Unplug the camera cable.
  • Carefully remove the camera from the display.
