Installation and Removal Instructions
Venue 11 Pro (5130) Motherboard
Step 1
- Using a scribe, lift and unsnap the bottom door.
Step 2
- Slide the battery latches over until they click in the unlocked position.
- Lift the battery out of the tablet.
Step 3
- Press a paperclip into the ejector hole until the SD card carrier ejects.
- Remove the Mirco SD card.
Step 4
- Remove the cable cover screw.
- Remove the cable cover.
Step 5
- Open the cable latch.
- Unplug the cables
Step 6
- Remove the base screws.
Step 7
- Carefully unsnap the base assembly.
Step 8
- Unplug the SD Card / SIM Card / HDMI circuit board cable.
Step 9
- Unplug the USB / Vibrator Motor Circuit Board cable.
Step 10
- Unplug the cable.
- Remove the CMOS battery
Step 11
- Unplug the left speaker cable.
- Unplug the right speaker cable.
Step 12
- Unplug and remove the rear facing camera.
Step 13
- Unplug the front facing camera
Step 14
- Unplug and loosen the wireless antenna cables.
- Unplug the LCD cable.
Step 15
- Remove the large motherboard screw.
- Remove the small motherboard screws.
- Remove the motherboard.
