Installation and Removal Instructions
Venue 11 Pro (5130) Touchscreen Assembly

Using a scribe, lift and unsnap the bottom door.

Step 1

  • Using a scribe, lift and unsnap the bottom door.

Lift the battery out of the tablet.

Step 2

  • Slide the battery latches over until they click in the unlocked position.

Remove the Mirco SD card.

Step 3

  • Press a paperclip into the ejector hole until the SD card carrier ejects.

Remove the cable cover.

Step 4

  • Remove the cable cover screw.

Unplug the cables

Remove the base screws.

Remove the circuit board.

  • Unplug the SD Card / SIM Card / HDMI circuit board cable.

Remove the screws.

  • Unplug the USB / Vibrator Motor Circuit Board cable.
  • Remove the screws.

  • Unplug the vibrator motor cable.

Remove the CMOS battery

  • Unplug the cable.

Remove the left speaker.

Step 12

  • Unplug the left speaker cable.

Step 13

  • Unplug the right speaker cable.

Unplug and remove the rear facing camera.

Unplug the front facing camera

Step 15

  • Unplug the front facing camera
Unplug the LCD cable.

Step 16

  • Unplug and loosen the wireless antenna cables.
  • Unplug the LCD cable.

Remove the small motherboard screws.

Step 17

  • Remove the large motherboard screw.
  • Remove the small motherboard screws.
  • Remove the motherboard.

Remove the front facing camera

  • Remove the front facing camera
The remaining piece is the touchscreen assembly.
