A new Kickstarter campaign is launching the LogmeOnce multipurpose password manager; a military-grade encryption service made to not only store and keep your data, but also act as a password vault, and a phone charger!

 
LogmeOnce works similarly to other password services, such as LastPass and 1Password. It wants to keep your worries down, your security up, all while restoring your confidence. It stores all your passwords in the device itself, only requiring you to use one master password to unlock all of them. By consolidating hardware and software, it essentially unites all your passwords, User IDs, Web account, and USB drives through what it calls an “Open Architecture Convergence Platform”, or OAC. Acting as a USB stick as well, this master password protects all the data located in it; keeping any unauthorized users from accessing it. Additionally, the USB stick gives you access to the LogmeOnce website, an online dashboard for managing your privacy and passwords. This way, you take out the worry of mentally memorizing all of your personal passwords to each website.

 
Taking on all of the work, LogmeOnce isn’t doing anything no one has heard of before. But it is bringing all the functionality into one, small gadget. It is actually the only company so far to offer such a unified solution; both a hardware key, and a software key to put your mind at ease. For more stringent protection, users can create incredibly strong passwords, something essential in today’s online environments. The LogmeOnce dashboard works by of course storing all of your passwords; but also uses a Single Sign-On (SSO), and Identity Management (Id).

 
When the user signs onto a website in the dashboard, it opens a new window and the user is signed into that site with military-grade, software based encryption. Each drive is embedded with a unique ID “token”, handling each website’s activity. The security token acts as a software detector, defending anything from tampering with the hardware. The USB interface has a generous 16GB of secure space. The LogmeOnce 5000 is a high-end option, including an Apple Lightning port for recharging iOS devices. The Kickstarter website is currently asking for $135 dollars for the consolidator.
