Most of our orders are from repeat customers. Parts-People began as a small company 20 years ago in an extra bedroom of my house. I had saved a small sum of money to purchase some computer parts and began selling them on eBay. After a few months I realized that people needed a place to go for Dell parts so I began building our website. Since we are located in Austin, Texas, where Dell.com was founded, I was able to set up a solid supply line with Dell. From the start, we focused on customer satisfaction and selling quality parts. We have grown a lot since 2002 but still and always the customer will come first. You will find that we go above and beyond with every order and offer free resources and support before and after the sale.

Fon is a Spanish company founded on Kickstarter, and has since become one of the world’s largest dual-access Wi-Fi network operators. Back in July of 2013, Fon held over 8 million hotspots, while today it has over 13 million around the world. On April 16th, Fon launched Gramofon, its new crowdfunding campaign. Gramfon is a sleek looking router that connects to the sound system of your choice, streaming music into your home via its Wi-Fi connectivity. Offering the same, simple Fon Wi-Fi sharing functionality, Gramofon contains an easy Facebook log-in, and a built-in Spotify app. CEO and founder, Martin Varsavsky, has been working on the “social music router” by building prototypes out of open source software, as well as open sourced, mini-computer, the Raspberry Pi.
Competing with audio and media streaming services, such as Roku and Sonos, Gramofon connects via Wi-Fi or Ethernet outlet, contains a 3.5mm audio cable, and an RCA adapter for hooking up to a sound system. Through Wi-Fi, your iOS or Android device lets you or your guests automatically log into the Gramofon account and start choosing tunes. In fact, up to 20 guests can connect to the server at once. The company emphasizes Gramofon being a “DJ making machine”, where the ultimate huge play list can be created. Roaming around the entire house does not leave you at risk for losing connection. Gramofon uses Wi-Fi only, not Bluetooth. What used to be fantastic speakers with lovely sound, are now fantastically smart! That, and they can play virtually anything, using your smartphone as the remote!
Worrying about your smartphone’s battery being drained from playing the remote-role? Don’t. Due to Gramofon’s integrated Spotify app, music is being directly streamed from Spotify’s servers. Of course, the same doesn’t apply if playing music from your personal library, or other music playing app. Other music services, such as Grooveshark and Google Play, will soon be added after Fon launches the product. Another perk? Purchasing the Gramofon means you are essentially joining the Fon Wireless Ltd. network, giving you all the Wi-Fi access you need all over the world! Double whammy! For a limited time, the company is offering Gramofon for a reduced, early bird price. Only $30 will get you the first edition white option, and $40 for the black. The company is seeking $250,000 for its campaign, and shipping is set for July of this year.
