Most of our orders are from repeat customers. Parts-People began as a small company 20 years ago in an extra bedroom of my house. I had saved a small sum of money to purchase some computer parts and began selling them on eBay. After a few months I realized that people needed a place to go for Dell parts so I began building our website. Since we are located in Austin, Texas, where Dell.com was founded, I was able to set up a solid supply line with Dell. From the start, we focused on customer satisfaction and selling quality parts. We have grown a lot since 2002 but still and always the customer will come first. You will find that we go above and beyond with every order and offer free resources and support before and after the sale.

Ever wondered if there was a more attractive solution to the decidedly unattractive problem of recharging your phone? Me either, as I have never considered charging my phone to be either sexy or unsexy. Certainly, every smartphone owner worries about battery loss. The moment you see you've only got 5% to talk, text, or surf is a truly cranky interruption to your day. One company, Q Designs, hopes to have the answer to this pseudo problem by designing a phone-charging device in the shape of a stylish bracelet.
QBracelet looks like a stylish piece of wrist candy. It could even pass for a Fitbit or other smart band, actually. But unlike other smart wearables worn around the wrist for tracking your life, this bracelet doesn't count calories for you. Secretly holding a lithium-ion battery inside, QBracelet acts as a portable charger capable of delivering juice to your iPhone or Android device.
Inside the bracelet's clasp is a lightning adapter for Apple products, and a micro-USB port for Android devices. The battery level and charging state is displayed using four LEDS hidden above the bracelet's adapter. Depending on the battery level of the phone, it can take up to 60 minutes to full recharge a device (a similar rate to a wall charger). The bracelet has a standby life of 30 days, but when a recharge is needed, it only takes about 90 minutes.
Q Designs co founder and CEO James Kernan says, “We found existing external battery solutions to be unappealing and frustrating to use, and so we set out to build a simple, beautiful alternative”. QBracelet is very durable and lightweight, only weighing 40g to 50g, with an exterior made out of high-grade aluminum, and an interior of polycarbonate plastic. Styles and sizes for both women and men are available, as well as a variety of colors to choose from including black, polished matte silver, and gold. QBracelet may be pre-ordered for $79, and will retail for $99 when it launches this holiday season.
