  • 1 x small phillips head screwdriver
  • 1 x small plastic scribe

Installation and Removal Instructions
XPS 15-L502X (P11F003) Hard Drive & Caddy

Slide the latch over and lift the Battery out of the laptop.

Step 1

  • Slide the latch over and lift the Battery out of the laptop.

Remove the bottom screw.

Step 2

  • Remove the bottom screw.
  • Release the latches to loosen the palmrest.

Turn the laptop over and open it up.

Step 3

  • Turn the laptop over and open it up.
  • Carefully separate the palmrest from the base.

Turn the palmrest over and unplug the cables.

Step 4

Turn the palmrest over and unplug the cables.Remove the Palmrest Touchpad.
Remove the screws.

Step 5

  • Remove the screws.
  • Slide the hard drive over & remove the Hard Drive.
Remove the screws.Slide the hard drive over & remove the Hard Drive.
Remove the hard drive caddy screws on both sides of the hard drive.

Step 6

  • Remove the hard drive caddy screws on both sides of the hard drive.
  • Separate the hard drive & Hard Drive Caddy.
