Most of our orders are from repeat customers. Parts-People began as a small company 20 years ago in an extra bedroom of my house. I had saved a small sum of money to purchase some computer parts and began selling them on eBay. After a few months I realized that people needed a place to go for Dell parts so I began building our website. Since we are located in Austin, Texas, where Dell.com was founded, I was able to set up a solid supply line with Dell. From the start, we focused on customer satisfaction and selling quality parts. We have grown a lot since 2002 but still and always the customer will come first. You will find that we go above and beyond with every order and offer free resources and support before and after the sale.

With so many smartphones, tablets and “phablets” currently on the market, it can be overwhelming to choose the one that is right for you. Depending on whether you’re looking for speed, functionality, storage space, great graphics or optimal performance in the lightest package possible, the right tablet for you could set your pocketbook back several hundred dollars – at least. But if you’re simply looking for a well-performing, durable tablet in an affordable price range, the new Amazon Fire HD 6 could be the perfect fit.
At only $99, the Amazon Fire HD 6 is a surprisingly adept little tablet for the price. The 6-inch slate offers a sharp 1,280 x 800 panel, which equates to a very respectable pixel density of 252 ppi. In fact, with the same resolution as its 7-inch counterpart, the Fire HD 6 actually has better pixel density than the 7-inch model, which has only 216 ppi. Plus, the screen comes coated with Gorilla Glass, so you can toss it into your backpack with minimal fear of it scratching or scuffing. In fact, Amazon even ran the Fire HD 6 through a gamut of torture tests ranging from sunscreen to salt water as well as a machine that simulates items being tossed around in one’s bag, all to ensure it was as durable as possible for taking on-the-go.
The Fire HD 6 comes standard with 8GB of built-in storage, 1GB of RAM and an ARM Cortex-A15 1.21GHz quad-core processor. The 2-megapixel camera is capable of shooting 1080p video, while a lower-res VGA camera up front lends a hand to those selfies. Audio is provided by Dolby Digital Plus technology, while other notable specs include 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, an accelerometer and a gyroscope. Plus, with the Fire HD 6, Amazon introduced their new version of Fire OS codenamed “Sangria”. This carousel-like OS shows the things you’ve recently visited with a fresh and easy-to-understand User Interface that makes multitasking a breeze. Overall, it seems to be one of Amazon’s most user-friendly OS to date.
While several users have complained about the minimal storage and lack of microSD memory card slot to supplement this, overall it has been widely touted as the best tablet in its price range. With a sharp, beautiful screen and a bevy of color options for the fashionably geek chic crowd, for under $100 this little gadget can’t be beat.
