Most of our orders are from repeat customers. Parts-People began as a small company 20 years ago in an extra bedroom of my house. I had saved a small sum of money to purchase some computer parts and began selling them on eBay. After a few months I realized that people needed a place to go for Dell parts so I began building our website. Since we are located in Austin, Texas, where Dell.com was founded, I was able to set up a solid supply line with Dell. From the start, we focused on customer satisfaction and selling quality parts. We have grown a lot since 2002 but still and always the customer will come first. You will find that we go above and beyond with every order and offer free resources and support before and after the sale.

The iPad Mini better watch out, Dell is showing off the slimmest tablet out there, the Dell Venue 8 7000. Although it was first announced at Intel's Developer Forum keynote in San Francisco this past September, the company is done with shyness, and is now showing it off at CES in Vegas. The tablet is impressive, mostly because of how much tech Dell strove to fit into just .24 inches. Yep, I said that right. Plus, the device stands out as one of the only full-package Android tablet demonstrated at CES this week.
Duly noted is its RealSense camera, so I'll start with that. Despite whether or not you enjoy taking pictures with a tablet, get over it. A lot of you actually have a phablet for a smartphone anyway, like the Galaxy Note. The Venue 8 is only a couple inches larger than that, and after you realize what it can do quality-wise, you'll be using this thing for more than just snapping amazing photos.
What I'm talking about is the RealSense “Snapshot Depth” camera. It's actually four cameras. There are two 720p 2MP cameras, as well as one 8MP camera on the back, then one 2MP on the front. RealSense can capture depth information by recording detailed 3D information, and letting you scan models (objects, faces, etc) that can be later imported into software (Mashable).
Dell spent a lot of time on hardware too. Packed in machined aluminum, the Venue 8 features a 2560 x 1600 resolution on an 8.4 inch OLED display it calls “infinity edge to edge”. Inside, there is an Intel Atom Z3580 powering the thing, plus 2GB of RAM, 16GB of on board storage, and 512 GB of extra storage from a microSD. It runs Android 4.4.4, Bluetooth, an Intel XMM LTE modem, and has a GPS chip (Toms Hardware). Battery life has finally been determined, and it looks like that 5,900 mAh battery can keep the Venue 8 running for a good 10 hours.
For an 8ish-inch tablet, this thing is kinda pricey. At $399, you've got to be considering how thin the model is, as well as that RealSense camera and solid specs.
