Most of our orders are from repeat customers. Parts-People began as a small company 20 years ago in an extra bedroom of my house. I had saved a small sum of money to purchase some computer parts and began selling them on eBay. After a few months I realized that people needed a place to go for Dell parts so I began building our website. Since we are located in Austin, Texas, where Dell.com was founded, I was able to set up a solid supply line with Dell. From the start, we focused on customer satisfaction and selling quality parts. We have grown a lot since 2002 but still and always the customer will come first. You will find that we go above and beyond with every order and offer free resources and support before and after the sale.

Lenovo's latest convertible gaming laptop, the Y50 Touch, does more than gear up for gaming. Its design is sleek yet edgy, its machine claims to be powerful, and it even has the perk of a built-in projector. Probably the most exciting part of the Y50 is the price. Usually, when you hear about a laptop in the low-priced range, you can immediately expect it to lack the horsepower you were desiring. Normally priced at $1,500, the Lenovo Y50 has a lot of said horsepower inside its lightweight design for just under $1,000.
Thinner than the previous Y500 and Y510 laptops, the 15.23 x 10.37 x .9-inch Y50 leaves the bulkiness behind and weighs just 5.4 pounds. Another upgrade includes a light touch on design, as well as a soft keyboard deck instead of the previous black aluminum.
Onto display. Unfortunately, the Y50 isn't perfect when it comes to color reproduction, measuring 208 nits, nearly 50 nits less than what we see on other gaming laptops (Laptop Mag). That's probably an 8.5 out of 10 on the gaming experience. However, the 15-inch screen does have an anti-glare touch panel with 4K resolution. An Nvidia GeFore GTX 860M GPU powers the display.
It's loaded with Intel's Core i7 processor, contains 16GB of RAM, 256 GB of solid-state drive, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi (Cnet). The whole thing is complimented by a pair of JBL subwoofer speakers with Dolby Advanced Audio. Oh, and it has a webcam, too.
Y50's not perfect on battery life, but it all depends on how you are using the system. As you can imagine, light internet gaming is something you could do all day, while Steaming it up may take more power from your laptop. The whole thing sounds like a super good deal for $999. For a light yet solid looking laptop you can take anywhere to get some serious gaming done, the Y50 will satisfy you.
