Most of our orders are from repeat customers. Parts-People began as a small company 20 years ago in an extra bedroom of my house. I had saved a small sum of money to purchase some computer parts and began selling them on eBay. After a few months I realized that people needed a place to go for Dell parts so I began building our website. Since we are located in Austin, Texas, where Dell.com was founded, I was able to set up a solid supply line with Dell. From the start, we focused on customer satisfaction and selling quality parts. We have grown a lot since 2002 but still and always the customer will come first. You will find that we go above and beyond with every order and offer free resources and support before and after the sale.

Home security is more multifunctional than ever. Say goodbye to simply arming your home from intruders (unless you want to opt for the “boring” old systems). Home security has evolved into home automation, live video and cloud recordings, and night lights too! iControl Networks has been working on a new sleek-looking tower, dubbed Piper NV, an upgrade to the original Piper, which was still loaded with perks. Despite all the extra functionality, Piper NV is still a focused device, allowing home owners to keep an eye on their turf from anywhere via mobile app (Android or iOS).
At first glance, the pint glass-sized Piper NV looks like a ultra hip security camera, with one big eyeball. That big eyeball, now made of glass, actually packs a fantastic camera with 3.4 megapixel resolution (up from just 2MPs on the first model), and automatic night vision so it can kick on and capture footage even in the dark. What also comes in handy is the system's ability to handle 180-degree HD video. Co-founder Russel Ure stated that getting the night vision just right was a big challenge, especially with that wide angle viewing. But the upgrade certainty paid off, ridding the device of one of its previous shortcomings. Check!
You can still get Piper's first model, priced at $199, but why would you want to? Piper NV comes with an array of infrared lights, and better camera quality for $269. Its super fast ARM processor can also improve security of the device by capturing motion-detected snippets straight from Piper's flash memory rather than sending it to the cloud first (Tech Crunch). Lastly, if you're a home automator and love connected devices, Piper can connect to any Z Wave-compatible gadget and become their smart hub.
