Most of our orders are from repeat customers. Parts-People began as a small company 20 years ago in an extra bedroom of my house. I had saved a small sum of money to purchase some computer parts and began selling them on eBay. After a few months I realized that people needed a place to go for Dell parts so I began building our website. Since we are located in Austin, Texas, where Dell.com was founded, I was able to set up a solid supply line with Dell. From the start, we focused on customer satisfaction and selling quality parts. We have grown a lot since 2002 but still and always the customer will come first. You will find that we go above and beyond with every order and offer free resources and support before and after the sale.

Whether we have out laptops open, our tablets in our hand, our smartwatch on our wrist, or our smartphone in our bags, we always want some sort of way to display things that are important to us. A Latvian IT company called Draugiem Group has created a highly customizable Wi-Fi display called Displio that sits anywhere you want it to, providing your favorite notifications so you don't always have to get out the bigger gadgets. The company recently put up its own crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter in hopes of raising $65,000 to get Displio in the hands (or on the desks and kitchen counters) of consumers.
The 2.7-inch Displio features an E-ink display, Wi-Fi, and a built-in speaker to notify you of social media alerts such as Tweets and Facebook Likes, stocks, emails, weather, calender updates, and FitBit. If you're a workaholic, Displio can even track your business metrics, stats, as well as meetings (Kickstarter). It is completely customizable, so you decide from a wide selection of widgets and the types of information you would like to be updated with. The little gadgets also come in a variety of colors, including a new wood casing option. Its E-ink display keeps the subtlety you may desire, all while tapping into that speaker to get your attention. Speaking of tapping, Displio doesn't have any buttons, but interacts with your own gestures. Tapping or shaking the device reloads it, and rotating it switches widgets.
The Displio app is available on both Android and iOS smartphones. Here you can set Displio up to your liking, install your favorite widgets, as well as get notifications when the battery is running low (Geeky Gadgets). However, thanks to the low power consumption of E-ink, Displio will need a battery charge only once a month or so. Lastly, it comes open with its own API and widget creator for anyone who wants to develop/program their own widgets for the device, a list that Draugiem Group is consistently adding to. Anyone interested in Displio can hop onto the Kickstarter website and make a starting pledge of $99 to receive one when shipping begins.
