Most of our orders are from repeat customers. Parts-People began as a small company 20 years ago in an extra bedroom of my house. I had saved a small sum of money to purchase some computer parts and began selling them on eBay. After a few months I realized that people needed a place to go for Dell parts so I began building our website. Since we are located in Austin, Texas, where Dell.com was founded, I was able to set up a solid supply line with Dell. From the start, we focused on customer satisfaction and selling quality parts. We have grown a lot since 2002 but still and always the customer will come first. You will find that we go above and beyond with every order and offer free resources and support before and after the sale.

Anyone heard of the Sailfish OS-powered smartphones? The OS was written by a mobile software developer called Jolla, which has been working on improving its software with 9 updates and counting, plus hundreds of new features. Now, to go with its healthier OS, Jolla is releasing an exciting new tablet that's being called “an iPad alternative”. After putting its plan on Indiegogo late last year, it blasted its own goal, raising over $1.8 million in total funding. Now, Jolla has a few new goals for its tablet, and is back up on Indiegogo in hope of more funding. Yep, looks like the demand for this thing is worth it.
Besides running Jolla's Sailfish, the Intel-powered, 7.9-inch, 2,048 x 1,536 rez tablet is said to be “built around the same basic specs as Nokia's N1”, although many of its specs seem to mimic that of the iPad Mini 2. The updated Jolla plans to double its storage capacity from 32GB to 64GB, as well as up its battery power, from 4,450mAh to 4,300mAh (Cnet). It also plans to add some extra support for storage via microSD (up to 128GB). There is one piece of bad news regarding the external storage, however. As reported from Cnet, cards over 32GB formatted for Jolla tablets won't be readable with Windows devices, according to Microsoft's licensing. Finally, the Jolla Tablet doesn't just run its own Sailfish apps, but can run Android apps by downloading them from the Jolla Store.
Previous Jolla backers are in for a treat. For $25, they can receive the upgraded 64GB variant, but for first time backers, Jolla starts at $249. A new package is also available as an Indiegogo campaign perk. Called The Combo, backers can get a Jolla smartphone and 32GB tablet, starting around $420.
