Most of our orders are from repeat customers. Parts-People began as a small company 20 years ago in an extra bedroom of my house. I had saved a small sum of money to purchase some computer parts and began selling them on eBay. After a few months I realized that people needed a place to go for Dell parts so I began building our website. Since we are located in Austin, Texas, where Dell.com was founded, I was able to set up a solid supply line with Dell. From the start, we focused on customer satisfaction and selling quality parts. We have grown a lot since 2002 but still and always the customer will come first. You will find that we go above and beyond with every order and offer free resources and support before and after the sale.

Shuttle PCs are well known for being high quality, compact, and slim. The Taiwan-based company has been making anything from motherboards, barebone computers, monitors, and complete PC systems for the last ten years (Wikipedia). Among the most popular commercialized Shuttle systems, mini PCs are the most loved by hobbyists and PC enthusiasts. The latest member of the Shuttle family is a new barebone PC (case, motherboard, and power supply) called the DS57U. Two factors will make the DS57U special. It will be the first of their mini-PCs to feature an integrated Intel Broadwell processor underneath the hood, and it will be fanless.
Powered by your choice of Intel’s 5th gen processors- either Intel Celeron, Core i3, Core i5, or Core i7, all that is needed to complete the system is some RAM (two SODIMM slots support up to 16GB), storage, and an operating system (Hexus). Shuttle’s processor of choice is the dual-core Intel Celeron 3205U with integrated HD graphics. The processor allows for fanless cooling due to its ability to consume less than 15W, making the system incredibly quiet and less of a “dust sucker”.
Geeky Gadgets reports the rest of the Shuttle DS57U specs. It features 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, 2 Gigabit Ethernet ports, HDMI, a DisplayPort, 2 USB 3.0’s, 4 USB 2.0’s, 2 serial ports, an SD card reader, a 2.5-inch SATA III drive bay for SSD or HDD, full-sized mini PCIE slot, and half-sized mini PCIE jack. The entire thing measures 20 x 2.95 x 16.5 cm, which can fit all the internal ports mentioned inside.
With it being a fanless machine and all, this also means the Shuttle DS57U could be (nearly) maintenance-free thanks to less parts moving around. Because it’s delivered with minimal components, folks who enjoy building their own computers will have fun setting this little guy up. It’s also designed for 24/7 operation, perfect for using at work or for running a small business. The device is currently available in Europe only for $217.
