Most of our orders are from repeat customers. Parts-People began as a small company 20 years ago in an extra bedroom of my house. I had saved a small sum of money to purchase some computer parts and began selling them on eBay. After a few months I realized that people needed a place to go for Dell parts so I began building our website. Since we are located in Austin, Texas, where Dell.com was founded, I was able to set up a solid supply line with Dell. From the start, we focused on customer satisfaction and selling quality parts. We have grown a lot since 2002 but still and always the customer will come first. You will find that we go above and beyond with every order and offer free resources and support before and after the sale.

When it comes to smaller and lighter laptops, we shouldn't complain too much when they aren't hugely powerful workhorses, right? I mean, most of then are built to do everything you need them to do on-the-go, and, on-the-go is more than doable these days with high-speed Wi-Fi, and cloud computing. Right up against the new MacBook is Samsung's Ativ Book 9, a thin in all the right places kind of laptop.
The Ativ Book 9 is encased in an Imperial Black aluminum chassis, barely weighs over 2 pounds, and measures a mere .47 inches thick. It's 12.2-inch screen features a display resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels. To no surprise, the entire device is completely fan-less. This is part of the mechanics of building something so light and thin. It's standard model comes with 4GB of RAM, a 128GB hard drive, and a low-powered Intel Core M processor, which, as I mentioned is okay when you're dealing with something so incredibly thin (Digital Trends).
Now if you really want to compare the MacBook to the Ativ Book 9, you would pay attention to the weaker battery life (7 hours of full duty) and less sufficient, kind of “scrunched” keyboard of the Book 9. On the upside, you would also want to note that the Book 9 has more storage ports and connections than the MacBook (2 USBs, a mini HDMI, an audio out, and microSD), because remember, Apple has transitioned to the single USB-C port. All in all, everything about the Book 9 is more or less sleek and far more than functional. In fact, according to Mashable, “The Book 9 is so thin and light that it actually fulfills the use of a tablet better than a tablet does”. As far as replacing your desktop, that depends on if you're more of a web browser kind of worker. Two models of the Book 9 exist, a 4GB RAM, 128GB of storage version for $1,200, and an 8GB of RAM, 256GB of storage version for $1,400.
