When shown off at CES, ZTE presented the Spro 2 as a device targeted at anyone from business personal doing work presentations, to friends and family using it to put on movie and game nights. The 5.28 x 5.16 x 1.22 Spro 2 weighs just 1.2 pounds and can project up to 120 inches of HD media at 200 lumens. Boasting a 1,280 x 720 resolution, it also features an auto-focus and auto keystone feature to correct the shape of the display to be rectangular on any wall. All you do is connect the projector to a smartphone, tablet, or laptop via Wi-Fi connection, and use its 5-inch 720p touchscreen to access your favorite streaming apps. Any content you want kept on the device can be stored via its 16GB internal storage capacity, or 64GB microSD capacity. Additionally, Spro contains an HDMI and USB ports for additional connectivity (Cnet).
We can't forget that the projector is dubbed “smart” for a reason. Because of its built-in hotspot, Spro can pick up wireless internet signals and allow up to10 devices to connect to it at once. ZTE chairman Lixin Cheng describes it as a “prime example of our capabilities to deliver innovative products that improve life both at work and home” (Mashable). Finally, back to the contract or no contract options, Spro 2 comes with a two-year agreement with AT&T mobile for $400, or $500 with no annual contract.
