Installation and Removal Instructions
Chromebook 11 (3120) LCD Hinges

Remove screws (7 x M2.5 x 8mm).

Step 1

Remove screws (7 x M2.5 x 8mm).Use flat object to carefully pry open and remove Bottom Base Cover.
Remove screws (2 x M2 x 4mm).

Step 2

Remove screws (2 x M2 x 4mm).Disconnect cable and remove Battery.
Remove LCD Cable from Motherboard.

Step 3

Unscrew bottom of LCD Hinges and remove LCD Display Assembly (4 x

Unscrew bottom of LCD Hinges and remove LCD Display Assembly (4 x Unscrew bottom of LCD Hinges and remove LCD Display Assembly (4 x Unscrew bottom of LCD Hinges and remove LCD Display Assembly (4 x
Use thin object to pry off screw covers.

Step 5

  • Use thin object to pry off screw covers.
  • Remove screws (2 x M2 x 3mm).
  • Use fingers to pry loose and remove LCD Bezel.

Remove screws (4 x M2 x 3mm).

Step 6

  • Remove screws (4 x M2 x 3mm).
  • Flip over LCD Screen.
  • Peel back adhesive and remove LCD cable.

Remove screws from hinges (8 x M2 x 3mm).

Step 7

  • Remove screws from hinges (8 x M2 x 3mm).
