Installation and Removal Instructions
Inspiron 13-7348 (P57G-001) Palmrest Keyboard

Remove the screws (10 x M2.5 x 8mm).

Step 1

  • Remove the screws (10 x M2.5 x 8mm).
  • Remove the access door.
Remove the screws (10 x M2.5 x 8mm).Remove the access door.
Remove the battery screws (2 x M2 x 3mm).

Step 2

Remove the battery screws (2 x M2 x 3mm).Remove the Battery.Remove the battery screws (2 x M2 x 3mm).
Loosen or remove the tape.

Step 3

  • Loosen or remove the tape.
  • Unplug the hard drive cable.
Loosen or remove the tape.Unplug the hard drive cable.
Remove the screws (2 x M2 x 3mm).

Step 4

Remove the screws (2 x M2 x 3mm).Remove the Hard Drive.
Unplug the antenna cables.

Step 5

  • Unplug the antenna cables.
  • Unplug the power button volume circuit board cable.
  • Unplug & loosen the daughter board cable.

Remove the screw (1 x M2 x 3mm).

Step 6

Remove the screw (1 x M2 x 3mm).Remove the SD Card Circuit Board.Remove the screw (1 x M2 x 3mm).
Unplug the fan cable.

Step 7

Unplug the fan cable.Remove the screws (1 x M2 x 3mm)(1 x Remove the Cooling Fan.Unplug the fan cable.
Loosen the heatsink screws (cannot be removed).

Step 8

  • Loosen the heatsink screws (cannot be removed).
  • Remove & clean the Heatsink.

Remove the Power Button Circuit Board.

Step 9

Remove the Power Button Circuit Board.Remove the Power Button Circuit Board.
Unplug the speaker cable.

Step 10

  • Unplug the speaker cable.
  • Remove the Speakers.
Unplug the speaker cable.Remove the Speakers.Unplug the speaker cable.
Remove the screw (1 x M2 x 3mm).

Step 11

Remove the screw (1 x M2 x 3mm).Unplug the cable.Remove the DC Jack.Remove the screw (1 x M2 x 3mm).
Remove the LCD display cable bracket screws (2 x M2 x 3mm).

Step 12

  • Remove the LCD display cable bracket screws (2 x M2 x 3mm).
  • Remove the LCD display cable bracket.
Remove the LCD display cable bracket screws (2 x M2 x 3mm).Remove the LCD display cable bracket.
Unplug the display cable.

Step 13

  • Unplug the display cable.
  • Unplug the touchscreen cable.
  • Loosen the display cable.
Unplug the display cable.Unplug the touchscreen cable.Loosen the display cable.
Remove the left hinge screw (1 x M2.5 x 5mm).

Step 14

Remove the left hinge screw (1 x M2.5 x 5mm).Remove the right hinge screws (2 x M2.5 x 5mm).Remove the LCD Display Assembly.
Unplug the keyboard cable.

Step 15

  • Unplug the keyboard cable.
Unplug the keyboard cable.Unplug the keyboard cable.
Unplug the keyboard back light cable.

Step 16

  • Unplug the keyboard back light cable.
  • Unplug the touchpad cable.
  • Remove the screw (1 x M2 x 2mm wafer).
Unplug the keyboard back light cable.Unplug the touchpad cable.
Remove the Motherboard.

Step 17

The remaining piece is the Palmrest Keyboard.
