Installation and Removal Instructions
Precision 15-5510 (P56F001) Hard Drive

Remove the 10 - M2 x 3mm Torx screws.

Step 1

  • Remove the 10 - M2 x 3mm Torx screws.
  • Remove the screws under the badge door.

Unsnap & remove the Bottom Base Cover.

Step 2

Unsnap & remove the Bottom Base Cover.Unsnap & remove the Bottom Base Cover.
Unplug the battery cable.

Step 3

  • Unplug the battery cable.
  • Remove the 4 - M2 x 4mm screws.
Unplug the battery cable.Remove the 4 - M2 x 4mm screws.
Remove the Battery.

Step 4

Remove the Battery.Remove the Battery.
Remove the 4 - M2 x 4mm bracket screws.

Step 5

Remove the 4 - M2 x 4mm bracket screws.Remove the Hard Drive Bracket.
Unplug the cable.

Step 6

Unplug the cable.Remove the Hard Drive Connector Cable from the Remove the Hard Drive Isolation Caddy.
