What Alienware is getting at is a visual experience never achieved before, edging itself towards PC display quality. Not only does OLED display the richness and vibrancy that can truly enhance the experience of playing a game, or even watching a film, if you knew how fast those pixels were refreshing themselves, you’d be thankful this technology is literally in your hands. It’s more or less incredible. But as I said to be thankful, also appreciate the few spontaneous moments of visual stuttering. I mean very few, like a dip as low as one millisecond at best. Alienware’s 13 Limited Edition could ultimately turn out to have one of the quickest panels on a new gaming laptop to date. Prices also start at $1,400, less than many of its competition.
