The Asus ZenPad Z10 Is a 9.7-Inch Tablet Available Through Verizon

AsusZenPadZ10Zt500klAsus and Verizon are teaming up to launch the new ZenPad Z10 ZT500KL tablet, exclusively tied to the carrier nickname, Big Red, and full of the best specifications yet. Just last week, Verizon announced the new offering in its stores, and the Z10 already seems to fit there perfectly. Verizon is statistically seen as one of the better wireless carriers, and anyone who agrees should be excited to own a tablet with consistent LTE connection, all while sporting the best from Android, and Qualcomm’s hexa-core CPU.

The 9.7-inch tablet is proudly featuring a 2K 2,048 x 1,536 pixels, or 246ppi, touchscreen display. It will be running Android 6.01 with ZenUI on top (and most likely 7.0 soon since it is already on other devices), powered with a Snapdragon 650 chipset, and boasting a hexa-core CPU. Paired with an Adreno 510 GPU (said to give users an enjoyable “rich multimedia and gaming experience”), and 3GB of RAM, there’s an additional 32GB of internal storage, expandable to 128GB via microSD. That already rich display, also boasts built-in Asus VisualMaster technology, for perpetual optimization of “contrast, sharpness, and motion clarity depending on the situation, automatically choosing the best settings for movie, gaming and outdoor scenarios”.

AsusZenPadZ10Zt500kl-1Along with seeing lovely, expect to hear lovely as well - the Z10s dual stereo speakers and DTS-HD audio mean for better audio quality (with headphones). Cameras include an 8MP rear-facer and a 5MP front-facer, and the battery, with its 7,800mAh, unfortunately doesn’t have a specific life span to tell you about. Finally, connectivity consists of 802.11ac Wi-Fi, GPS, and Bluetooth 4.1, 3G, and 4GB LTE; but you’ll also find Proximity, Ambient light, Accelerometer, and Gyroscope sensors.

Verizon’s latest store offering is definitely in the lower-range pricing niche. Prices include the following options- either $329.99 for a direct purchase, $299.99 with a two-year contract, or $0 upfront, and payments of just $13.74 per month. Consumers love tablets, and we’ll have to wait to see just how compatible the device ends up being. It doesn’t exactly have a main focus, a special feature, if you will, but definitely give it a try if you’re into watching video and gaming on a great display.
