Acer Aspire’s E-15 Model is One Epic Deal In Tech Right Now

What's wrong with the Acer Aspire E-15 model? Nothing really, it happens to be pretty much typical of most Windows laptops these days. I mean if there is one to specifically compare this laptop to it would be Toshiba C55-C, so I guess if you enjoyed that one or at least read about it, the Acer Aspire E15 should be a suitable laptop for you as well. Getting down to business, I can tell you that this guy is one of the cheapest laptops on the market, and for sub $500, you get 1080p, you get Intel, and you get Windows. So when I say it’s typical to most laptops in its class, it actually has an up on competition with this budget price.

Windows laptops are of course a lovely commodity, and as we know, in the world of technology it is either Apple or it is Windows. The difference between the two, besides all of the differences in either OS, is that you can't get an Apple product for a cheap price, plain and simple. With Windows laptops and PCs however, there are so many possibilities for any type of laptop user. Highly affordable, or highly expensive, it's good to know when there is a really good-sized, shaped, and configured laptop for somebody with a smaller budget.

The Acer Aspire E-15 laptop is actually a well-designed laptop when it comes to RAM and power. With 8GB of RAM, a 256GB SSD, and an Intel Core i5 processor, there are more than sufficient levels of hardware for all of the things a normal laptop user does. This of course means web browsing, creating and editing documents, using email, and all the apps you are used to, are easily maintained. With 2GB dedicated to graphics memory alone, Acer's machine is a great buy for anyone who likes to edit photos and play with videos every once in awhile. Anybody who knows the limitations of low graphics cards will understand me here.

The 15.6 inch laptop comes with a resolution of 1366 X 768 pixels. For comparison sake, since I mentioned Toshiba, note that screen angles are a bit wider, and colors are a bit more vivid on the Acer Aspire E-15. Externally speaking, this is also a substantially-built product, encased in a faux metal exterior that happens to be very sturdy. The laptop's keyboard might upset you, perhaps, as the keys are apparently concave. This might make it a weird experience typing at first, but something you can get used to. Since we're on the subject, the trackpad is ranked higher than most on-par competitors. Also, you might not care about this, but the E-15 speakers can get distorted and muffled, since they are for some reason located on the bottom.

Other than its Intel Core i5-5200 U processor, clocked at 2.20 gigahertz, and that graphics card mentioned being an Intel HD 5500, we've also got a 500GB 5400 RPM hard drive. Connectivity and ports include an HDMI, a VGA, two USB 3.0 ports, one USB-C port, one USB 2.0 port, Ethernet, a headphone jack, and an SD card slot. Oh and hey, there's even a DVD burner, weird right? One source described this laptop perfectly, as the Swiss army knife of laptops, and I completely understand why.

So say 1080p might not be enough for some folks. Let’s be real, most Windows OS lovers, after considering all the mentioned specifications, should be pretty much sold on this Acer laptop when looking at price. I would say a good middle of the road configuration will cost you around $550, and word of mouth has been giving this thing plenty of love. Noticeable or not, it's also good to know that the Aspire E-15 allegedly performs better than 80% of its competitors in this particular roundup. See why it’s said to be solid?
