Most of our orders are from repeat customers. Parts-People began as a small company 20 years ago in an extra bedroom of my house. I had saved a small sum of money to purchase some computer parts and began selling them on eBay. After a few months I realized that people needed a place to go for Dell parts so I began building our website. Since we are located in Austin, Texas, where Dell.com was founded, I was able to set up a solid supply line with Dell. From the start, we focused on customer satisfaction and selling quality parts. We have grown a lot since 2002 but still and always the customer will come first. You will find that we go above and beyond with every order and offer free resources and support before and after the sale.
20 years in business
over 2 million Dell parts sold
What do we know about Chinese manufacturer Teclast? Well, Most of us probably don't know anything, but the company, founded in 1999, has electronic products across the table, from tablet PCs, smart bands, power banks, and USB flash drives. Other than that, Teclast, headquartered in Guangzhou, and owned by Guangzhou Shangke Information Technology Co., LTD, now has branches built in Beijing, Shanghai, and Shenzhen. The small company, consisting of just over 800 colleagues, have maintained cooperation with Intel and Microsoft to be “one of the leading tablet companies in the Chinese market” (self-proclaimed). As far as taking up a big market share in China, it’s all relative. Yet, apparently there are over ten million Teclast users and that’s a lot for the rather small company.
So okay, we know the company isn't humongous, we know the company is not Asus or Lenovo, but we do know that the Chinese device maker’s latest tablet is a Windows-powered model with an 11-inch display, Intel processor and a really good amount of RAM and storage to meet most people's needs. During its pre-order season when it launched just 2 weeks back, it was being sold for an incredibly low price tag, around $289.99. When we are comparing prices here, we have to consider comparable tablets from better known companies. Hence, though this tablet won't stand out from its brand name so much, it might be its 6GB of RAM, perhaps, that could be enough to draw some consumer attention.
The Teclast X3 Plus is also a Windows tablet that converts into a laptop, a very hot commodity these days, especially for folks on-the-go. However the keyboard is not included in the price, which is not completely rare. In any case, it does have a built-in kickstand making it relatively easy to use with any Bluetooth or USB keyboard.
Onto more specs, this 11.6-inch, 2-in-1 tablet PC features a Full HD IPS G+G capacitive 10-point display, and a pixel count of 1920 by 1080. Inside, it is powered by an Intel Apollo Lake N3450 processor clocked at 1.1 GHz, paired with 6GB of RAM, and a Gen 9 HD GPU card. It is equipped with a built-in 64GB LPDDR3 internal memory card, expandable via MicroSD card slot, to an incredible 128GB.
The Teclast X3 Plus tablet runs Windows 10 out of the box, offers 2G and 3G networks, USB 3.0, Bluetooth 4.1 and Wi-Fi. It's not yet stated how long it's 6800 mAh polymer lithium ion battery should run for. Now that the pre-ordering period is over, the device will be available for about $550, still a reasonably mid-range price tag at that point, but getting a little bit near the high-end. Honestly, for a company that I have personally never heard of, I don't know if I would be willing to throw my money at this particular 2-in-1 tablet PC. However, it does seem to appear to be fully packaged with all of the necessary components to meet the requirements of really, anyone, like word processing, data transferring, sharing and editing photos, and of course anything that utilizes a good amount of memory.
