Most of our orders are from repeat customers. Parts-People began as a small company 20 years ago in an extra bedroom of my house. I had saved a small sum of money to purchase some computer parts and began selling them on eBay. After a few months I realized that people needed a place to go for Dell parts so I began building our website. Since we are located in Austin, Texas, where Dell.com was founded, I was able to set up a solid supply line with Dell. From the start, we focused on customer satisfaction and selling quality parts. We have grown a lot since 2002 but still and always the customer will come first. You will find that we go above and beyond with every order and offer free resources and support before and after the sale.

HP’s EliteBook model now has some new options, and it’s not only the nicer, quad-core CPU inside. Speaking of that, there’s a lot of attention towards Intel lately, as the newest Intel chips are getting into some good notebooks. The one I’m referring to is the latest CPU to beat, the eighth generation Intel Core i7 chips. Even Dell is ready to update its XPS 13 with those 8th gen bad boys. Not only that, but newer Inspiron models as well, in the latest 13 and 15-inch models of the Inspiron 5000 series and Inspiron 17 7737 2-in-1s. As far as HP’s latest EliteBook we knew, naturally, that those 8th gens were going to gracefully replace the 7th gens of the x360, but this laptop has the added perk of being not only more powerful, but MIL-STD 810G tested for durability.
But wait, there’s more. This 11.41in x 8.02in x .52in, 2.5-pound thin durable convertible features a 12.5-inch LCD screen (a magnificent 3840 x 2160 pixel count) with Ultra-bright HD IPS and a touch refresh rate of 120 Hz. Available with up a Core i7-7600U processor with vPro, up to 16GB of DDR3-1866 RAM, and up to 1TB of SSD.
Ports and connectivity include two Thunderbolt 3/USB Type-C ports, an HDMI 1.4a port, and a headset jack. Up to three external peripherals may be used with this laptop, and one nice accessory, the pressure-sensitive HP Active Pen works well for tasks, in conjunction with dual-array microphones, stereo speakers using Bang and Olufsen tuning.
The battery, with 49.28 Wh, is one that HP says is good up to 15.5 hours of life, and supports fast charging, so there’s a magical 50 percent extra charge in 30 minutes. Sometimes you find yourself wondering, well what’s the perfect niche for this laptop? HP finds itself making a solid and stable convertible for the boardroom. This could definitely weather the weather, so-to-speak, as its durability guidelines are intended as such, but the HP EliteBook x360 1020 G2 wants to be as enterprise-friendly of a computer as possible. Hey, it isn’t just for schools and students that drops happen. Having shock and drop resistance is handy no matter who you are. If you decide its for you, his particular laptop will be available for $1390 to start.
