  • 1 x small phillips head screwdriver
  • 1 x small plastic scribe

Installation and Removal Instructions
Chromebook 13-8820 (P80G002) Display Bezel

Peel off screw covers and loosen captive screws .

Step 1

  • Peel off screw covers and loosen captive screws .
  • Remove base cover.

Remove battery screws (4 x M2 x 3mm).

Step 2

  • Remove battery screws (4 x M2 x 3mm).
  • Disconnect and remove Battery.

Unscrew and remove bracket (1 x M2.5 x 5mm).

Step 3

Unscrew and remove bracket (1 x M2.5 x 5mm).Unscrew and remove bracket (1 x M2.5 x 5mm).
Unscrew and remove cable bracket (1 x M2 x 3mm).

Step 4

  • Unscrew and remove cable bracket (1 x M2 x 3mm).

Disconnect display cables.

Step 5

  • Disconnect display cables.
  • Unscrew and remove display assembly (3 x M2.5 x 5mm).

Use thin object to separate and remove hinge cover.

Step 6

  • Use thin object to separate and remove hinge cover.

Peel off screw covers and unscrew bezel (7 x M2 x 3mm).

Step 7

  • Peel off screw covers and unscrew bezel (7 x M2 x 3mm).
