Installation and Removal Instructions
Dell Chromebook 5190 2-in-1 Palmrest

Unscrew and use fingers to pry apart Bottom Base (9 X 2.5mm x 7.5mm).

Step 1

  • Unscrew and use fingers to pry apart Bottom Base (9 X 2.5mm x 7.5mm).

Remove battery screws (5 x M2 x 3mm).

Step 2

  • Remove brackets and disconnect Battery.

Unscrew and remove bracket and display cable (1 x M2 x 4mm).

Step 3

Unscrew bracket (1 x M2 x 4mm).

Step 5

Unscrew bracket (1 x M2 x 4mm).Remove motherboard cables.Unscrew and remove Motherboard (3 x Unscrew bracket (1 x M2 x 4mm).
Remove Speakers.

Step 6

Unscrew and remove bracket (2 x M2 x 4mm).

Step 7

Unscrew and remove bracket (2 x M2 x 4mm).Unscrew and disconnect I/O Board (2 x Unscrew and remove bracket (2 x M2 x 4mm).
Unscrew and remove bracket (3 x M2 x 3mm).

Step 8

Use plastic scribe to separate keyboard from the release hole labeled
