  • 1 x small phillips head screwdriver
  • 1 x small plastic scribe

Installation and Removal Instructions
Dell G3 15-3579 DC Jack

Unscrew base cover (8 x M2.5 x 6mm)(2 x captive screws).

Step 1

  • Unscrew base cover (8 x M2.5 x 6mm)(2 x captive screws).
  • Use fingers to pry apart and remove Base Cover.

Disconnect Battery.

Step 2

Unscrew and lift right hinge (3 x M2.5 x 6mm).

Step 3

Unscrew and lift right hinge (3 x M2.5 x 6mm).Unscrew and lift right hinge (3 x M2.5 x 6mm).
Disconnect and remove DC Jack.

Step 4

Disconnect and remove DC Jack.Disconnect and remove DC Jack.
