Installation and Removal Instructions
Inspiron 11-3147 (P20T001) Windows Button Board

Remove the screws.

Step 1

  • Remove the screws.
  • Unsnap & remove the access door.
Remove the screws.Unsnap & remove the access door.
Unplug & loosen the hard drive cable.

Step 2

  • Unplug & loosen the hard drive cable.
  • Remove the screws.
  • Remove the battery.
Unplug & loosen the hard drive cable.Remove the screws.Remove the battery.
Unplug & loosen the antenna cables.

Step 3

  • Unplug & loosen the antenna cables.
Remove the bracket screws.

Step 4

  • Remove the bracket screws.
  • Remove the bracket.

Remove the tape.

Step 5

  • Remove the tape.
  • Unplug the LCD cables.
Remove the tape.Unplug the LCD cables.
Open the laptop flat.

Step 6

  • Open the laptop flat.
  • Lay it keyboard facing down.
  • Remove the hinge screws.
  • Remove the display.

Use fingers to pry apart and separate back cover from screen.

Step 7

Unscrew and disconnect Windows Button Board (1 x M2 x 3mm).

Step 8
