  • 1 x small phillips head screwdriver
  • 1 x small plastic scribe

Installation and Removal Instructions
Vostro 15-3565 Display Cable

Unlock the battery.

Step 1

  • Unlock the battery.
  • Lift the Battery out of the laptop.

Remove the 2 - M2.5 x 5mm screws.

Step 2

Remove the 2 - M2.5 x 5mm screws.Pry up and remove the Access Door.Remove the 2 - M2.5 x 5mm screws.Remove the 2 - M2.5 x 5mm screws.
Unplug the cable.

Step 3

Unplug the cable.Remove the 4 - M2.5 x 5mm screws.Remove the Hard Drive.
Unplug the antenna cables.

Step 4

  • Unplug the antenna cables.
Remove the 1 - M2.5 x 2.5mm Wafer screw.

Step 5

Remove the 1 - M2.5 x 2.5mm Wafer screw.Remove the 7 - M2.5 x 5mm screws.
Press in the keyboard latches and loosen the keyboard.

Step 6

  • Press in the keyboard latches and loosen the keyboard.

Unplug the keyboard cable.

Step 7

  • Unplug the keyboard cable.
  • Remove the Keyboard.

Unplug the power button cable.

Step 8

  • Unplug the power button cable.
  • Unplug the touchpad cable.
  • Remove the 5 - M2.5 x 5mm screws.

Carefully unsnap & remove the Palmrest Touchpad.

Loosen the display cable tape.

Step 10

  • Loosen the display cable tape.
  • Unplug the display cable.

  • Loosen the display cable.
  • Loosen the antenna cables.

Remove the 2 - M2.5 x 5mm left hinge screws.

Step 12

Remove the 2 - M2.5 x 5mm left hinge screws.Remove the 1 - M2.5 x 5mm right hinge screw.Remove the LCD Display Assembly.
Carefully unsnap the LCD Bezel, working your way around the edges of the screen.

Step 13

  • Carefully unsnap the LCD Bezel, working your way around the edges of the screen.

Remove the 4 - M2 x 3mm screws.

Step 14

  • Remove the 4 - M2 x 3mm screws.
  • Loosen the cable tape.
  • Lift the screen and turn it over.

Loosen the cable latch tape.

Step 15

  • Loosen the cable latch tape.
  • Unlock the cable latch.
  • Unplug the cable.
  • Remove the LCD Screen.

Remove the 3 - M2.5 x 2.5mm Wafer screws.

Step 16

Remove the 3 - M2.5 x 2.5mm Wafer screws.Remove the left Hinge Rail.
