Installation and Removal Instructions
Precision 3561 Heatsink/Cooling Fan Assembly


Step 1
- Before you begin: If you need help at any point, you can always contact Parts-People Repair Department for help with your diagnosis or repair.


Step 2
- Use a Phillips Screwdriver to unscrew the Bottom Base (9 x captive screws).
- Use a Plastic Scribe to pry apart and remove the Bottom Base Cover.

Step 4
- Loosen the captive Heatsink/Cooling Fan Assembly screws.
- NOTE: If your model has Discrete Graphics there will be 6 captive screws and if your model has UMA Graphics there will be 4 captive screws.
- Remove the remaining cooling fan screws (2 x M2 x 4mm).
- Disconnect and remove the heatsink/cooling fan assembly.

Step 5
- IF REPLACING THE HEATSINK: Wipe off the old thermal paste. Then add a small dot of new thermal paste before screwing back on the heatsink.
- ***FOLLOW THESE STEPS IN REVERSE TO REINSTALL YOUR PART.
