Installation and Removal Instructions

Before you begin: If you need help at any point, you can always contact Parts-People Repair Department for help with your diagnosis or repair.

Step 1

Unscrew the Bottom Base Cover (8 x captive screws).

Step 2

  • Unscrew the Bottom Base Cover (8 x captive screws).
  • Use a plastic scribe to pry apart and remove the Bottom Base Cover.

Disconnect the Battery cable.

Step 3

Disconnect the CMOS Battery.

Step 4

  • Disconnect the CMOS Battery.

Disconnect the Speakers.

Step 5

  • Disconnect the Speakers.

Unscrew and remove the Battery (1 x captive screw).

Step 6

  • Unscrew and remove the Battery (1 x captive screw).

Pull the locking tabs outwardly to release the RAM/Memory.

Step 7

  • Pull the locking tabs outwardly to release the RAM/Memory.
  • Slide out the RAM/Memory.

Unscrew and remove the SSD bracket (3 x captive screws).

Step 8

  • Unscrew and remove the SSD bracket (3 x captive screws).
  • Slide out the M.2 NVMe SSD.

Unscrew and remove the WiFi bracket (1 x M2 x 3mm).

Step 9

  • Unscrew and remove the WiFi bracket (1 x M2 x 3mm).
  • Disconnect the antenna cables.
  • Slide out the WiFi Card.

Unscrew and remove the LCD cable bracket (1 x 2mm x 2.5mm).

Step 10

  • Unscrew and remove the LCD cable bracket (1 x 2mm x 2.5mm).
  • Disconnect the LCD cables.

Unscrew and remove the WWAN cable brackets (2 x M2 x 3mm).

Step 11

  • Unscrew and remove the WWAN cable brackets (2 x M2 x 3mm).

Unscrew and remove the DC Jack bracket (1 x M2 x 3mm).

Step 12

Unscrew and remove the DC Jack bracket (1 x M2 x 3mm).Disconnect the DC Jack Charging Port.Unscrew and remove the DC Jack bracket (1 x M2 x 3mm).
Unsnap the locking tab and disconnect the LED cable.

Step 13

  • Unsnap the locking tab and disconnect the LED cable.

Unsnap the locking tabs and disconnect the keyboard cables.

  • Unsnap the locking tabs and disconnect the keyboard cables.

Unscrew and remove the keyboard and keyboard bracket (19 x 1.6mm x 2mm).

Step 18
