Installation and Removal Instructions
Latitude 7300 Power Button
Step 1
- Before you begin: If you need help at any point, you can always contact Parts-People Repair Department for help with your diagnosis or repair.
Step 2
- Unscrew the Bottom Base Cover (8 x captive screws).
- Use a plastic scribe to pry apart and remove the Bottom Base Cover.
Step 4
- Disconnect the CMOS Battery.
Step 5
- Disconnect the Speakers.

- Unscrew and remove the LCD cable bracket (1 x 2mm x 2.5mm).
- Disconnect the LCD cables.
Step 12
- Unscrew and remove the DC Jack bracket (1 x M2 x 3mm).
- Disconnect the DC Jack Charging Port.
Step 13
- Unsnap the locking tab and disconnect the LED cable.
Step 14
- Unsnap the locking tab and disconnect the touchpad cable.
Step 15
- Unscrew the Cooling Fan (2 x M2 x 3mm).
Step 17
- Unsnap the locking tabs and disconnect the keyboard cables.
Step 18
- Unscrew and remove the keyboard and keyboard bracket (19 x 1.6mm x 2mm).
Step 19
- Unscrew and remove the Power Button (2 x 2mm x 2.5mm).
- ***FOLLOW THE ORIGINAL STEPS IN REVERSE TO REASSEMBLE YOUR LAPTOP.
