In this Dell laptop tutorial we are going to show you how to install and replace the Heatsink on your Inspiron 16 Plus 7630 laptop. 1 x small plastic scribe

Installation and Removal Instructions

Step 1

Step 2

Unscrew the Bottom Base Cover (7 x M2 x 3mm) (2 x captive screws).
Use a plastic scribe to pry apart and remove the Bottom Base Cover.

Step 3

Disconnect the Battery.

TO REMOVE THE HEATSINK FROM MODELS CONTAINING INTEGRATED INTEL GRAPHICS: Unscrew and remove the Heatsink (4 x captive screws).

Step 4

TO REMOVE THE HEATSINK FROM MODELS CONTAINING INTEGRATED INTEL GRAPHICS: Unscrew and remove the Heatsink (4 x captive screws).

TO REMOVE THE HEATSINK FROM MODELS CONTAINING DISCRETE NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3050/4050 GRAPHICS: You must remove the Left and Right Cooling Fans first.

Step 5

TO REMOVE THE HEATSINK FROM MODELS CONTAINING DISCRETE NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3050/4050 GRAPHICS: You must remove the Left and Right Cooling Fans first.
Disconnect the left and right cooling fans.
Unscrew and remove the Left and Right Cooling Fans (4 x M2 x 5mm).
