Installation and Removal Instructions
Dell G3 15 (3500) LCD Display Assembly

Before you begin: If you need help at any point, you can always contact Parts-People Repair Department for help with your diagnosis or repair.

Step 1

TOOLS FOR THIS REPAIR: Phillips #0 Screwdriver and a

TOOLS FOR THIS REPAIR: Phillips #0 Screwdriver and a Unscrew the bottom base cover (6 X 2mm x 7mm) (4 X captive screws).Pry apart and remove the Bottom Base Cover.TOOLS FOR THIS REPAIR: Phillips #0 Screwdriver and a
Disconnect the Battery Cable.

Step 3

Unscrew and remove the antenna bracket (1 x M2 x 3mm).

Step 4

  • Unscrew and remove the antenna bracket (1 x M2 x 3mm).
  • Disconnect the antenna cables.
Unscrew and remove the antenna bracket (1 x M2 x 3mm).Disconnect the antenna cables.
Disconnect the LCD cable.

Step 5

  • Disconnect the LCD cable.

Unscrew the LCD Display Assembly (4 x M2.5 x 5mm).

Step 6

  • Unscrew the LCD Display Assembly (4 x M2.5 x 5mm).
Open the LCD screen and separate it from the palmrest.

Step 7

  • Open the LCD screen and separate it from the palmrest.
  • Unroute the WiFi antenna cables underneath the heatsink before completely separating the LCD Display Assembly.
  • ***FOLLOW THE ORIGINAL STEPS IN REVERSE TO REASSEMBLE YOUR LAPTOP.
