Installation and Removal Instructions

Before you begin: If you need help at any point, you can always contact Parts-People Repair Department for help with your diagnosis or repair.

Step 1

TOOLS FOR THIS REPAIR: Phillips #0 Screwdriver and a

TOOLS FOR THIS REPAIR: Phillips #0 Screwdriver and a Unscrew the bottom base cover (2 X 2.5mm x 9mm) (4 X captive screws) (2 x M2.5 x 5mm).Pry apart and remove the Bottom Base Cover.TOOLS FOR THIS REPAIR: Phillips #0 Screwdriver and a
Disconnect the Battery Cable.

Step 3

  • Disconnect the Battery Cable.
Disconnect the DC Jack cable.

Step 4

  • Disconnect the DC Jack cable.
Unclip the locking tab and disconnect the left and right LED cables.

Step 5

  • Unclip the locking tab and disconnect the left and right LED cables.

Unscrew the rear I/O cover (2 x M2.5 x 5mm).

Step 6

  • Unscrew the rear I/O cover (2 x M2.5 x 5mm).
  • Slide off the Rear I/O Cover.
  • ***FOLLOW THE ORIGINAL STEPS IN REVERSE TO REASSEMBLE YOUR LAPTOP.

Disconnect the audio cable.

Step 7

  • Disconnect the audio cable.
  • Disconnect the I/O board cable.

Remove the audio port.

Step 8

  • Remove the audio port.
  • ***FOLLOW THE ORIGINAL STEPS IN REVERSE TO REASSEMBLE YOUR LAPTOP.
