With Dell, Acer, and HP seeing declines of more than 10 percent, Lenovo and Apple were the only PC makers in the top five that that gained market share in year over year numbers. Lenovo grew a whopping 28 percent, while Apple added more than 13 percent.

Dell Kills Its Last Android – The Streak 7

Dell Streak 7 tablets are being discontinued, at least in North America. China will still have a 10-inch version, and the 7 will still continue to be distributed in a number of markets including Australia. Earlier in 2011 the Android based 5-inch version of the Streak bit the dust as well; and that was the last of the android-based Dell tablets.
