This is a D-Series Port Replicator which can be used with or without Dell's D/View Stand to provide a quick way to transform your laptop into a desktop that is already plugged into an external mouse, keyboard, printer, etc.

Dell was selling these for $165.15 (on sale) but now Dell is no longer making them. Hard to get, get them while they last.
